Audra latest visitor is one of the darkest to ever cross her doorway but is also the one who will change her life.

Dorian Hunt is a fugitive from another dimension and needs to bond with a woman of white light in order to survive in this realm. He’s on the run from bounty hunters who can either capture him dead or alive. Will Audra be able to help Dorian beat back the darkness?

I found this story be a little challenging considering the length. I didn’t feel like the world came across for me. I enjoyed what I got to see of the main characters but that wasn’t much. The way the author handled the getting to know you stage of the relationship worked well for this story considering there were only 43 pages. Overall this was a pretty good read and I would recommend it but it isn’t one of my favorites.

For a very short story, I really enjoyed it. The characters were developed enough for the length of plot, and the sex definitely spicy.

Imagine waking up in 1896 to find that you’re still Lucinda, just with a different last name and an entirely different life. You’re now a debutante, a Southern belle, with a couple of very interesting suitors and your expectations have changed.

That’s the premise for this very entertaining young adult romance by Jessie Coulter. Her character must grow up very fast, since she’s now a marriageable young lady and has to adapt to the completely different rules of society at that time and in that place.

I really enjoyed The Demon’s Princess. The characters have a depth not always found in y/a paranormals. Lucinda is a mature young lady who has a practical and a passionate side in romance. And having to make a choice between the two – or three – very interesting and extremely sexy guys in front of her will take her the rest of the way to adulthood.

This was a short novella, but well done. The characters were nicely drawn with strong external conflicts to overcome. The sexual tension and heat between them was…well, hot. A very enjoyable read.

This is the third book in the Holiday Magic Series. I have not had the opportunity to read the first two books and although I hope to soon, I didn’t have any problems reading this one out of order. So this book works well as a stand alone and with the series.

Seraphina Scala thought her live-in lover, Valentino, had forgotten Valentine’s Day. She tried not to care because she loved him anyway. Then blood red roses were delivered to her and over the phone he told her “I love you, baby.” And she thought “those words just never get old.” But he had so much more planned for that night.

I loved these two characters and the depth of their feelings for one another. This short story wasn’t about conflicts keeping them apart, but about deepening the love between them. It was beautifully written and really hot, great fun. I would willingly be this hero’s captive any time.
