If you are looking for a quick venture into ménage Candy Cane for Christmas may be the perfect holiday goodie. The sex is explicit and hot. However, at only eight pages it is not much more than a nibble albeit a tasty one. The author has no time to develop any real connection between the audience and the characters or even between characters though I give Ms. Bookner credit for effort. The rating is a reflection of that missing element so essential to romance (even erotic romance).
