Detective Cameron Douglas is a werewolf who has hidden what he was for years to work as a cop. He has also hidden the fact that he’s gay. Nearly dying and losing his hearing because he gets too close on an investigation changes everything. He is told to “take up gardening or something” and not even given the chance at a desk job. He is angry about it all, but his ENT therapist both refuses to let him wallow in self-pity and arouses him at the same time.
Noel Miller is a vampire and a therapist for the deaf. He has had his own problems over the years, and kept many secrets. He hasn’t had a long-term relationship or wanted one until he meets a wounded, frustrated werewolf with attitude. He has finally found someone to love, if he can convince a certain “Fur face” to give them a chance.
Great characters! I fell in love with both of them early into the story and was cheering for them all the way. And then there were all the unique side characters added to the mix, even more fun. A definite keeper.
