Good, bad…sometimes there is a lot of in-between to consider.
Patricia Weaver has known Jack for years and begun having dreams about him. She’d known him…and yet she hadn’t. Now she fears him…and yet she doesn’t.
Jack Avery is a demon a soul collector of the dead already fated for hell who lives his everyday life as the owner of a general store. He has developed a fondness for Patricia over the years and wants more from her than friendship. But can she accept who and what he really is?
This was an interesting, short story about two people who have much in common and yet don’t. The obstacle between them and happiness together is huge. My only complaint is that I wished the story had been longer.
